Your way

Retiring next year or in thirty years' time? Whichever it is, we'll help you prepare for what comes next. No two retirements look the same. Whether yours involves travel, more time for the things you love, or supporting your family, we'll show you what's possible and give you a clear plan for making it happen.

The questions we help you answer

When can I afford to retire?

How much do I need, and am I on track?

Will my money last?

What should I do with the pensions I've built up?

How do I take an income without paying more tax than I need to?

How we work with you

Your goals

Your goals

We start with the retirement you have in mind: when you'd like to stop working, whether that's all at once or gradually, the lifestyle you want to fund and what matters most to you.

Where you are today

Where you are today

We bring your income, spending, savings, pensions, property and investments into one clear picture, and check whether your existing pensions are still right for you.

What's possible

What's possible

Using cashflow modelling, we map your finances year by year to show when you could afford to retire, then test the plan against market falls, inflation and life events.

Your plan

Your plan

We turn the model into clear actions, with recommendations drawn from the whole of the market. That might mean making full use of pension allowances, tax relief and employer contributions while you're saving, or drawing a sustainable, tax-efficient income once you retire.

Keeping you on track

Keeping you on track

Life changes, and so do the rules. We review your plan with you regularly, update your cashflow model each time and adjust course when you need to.

Building your wealth

Your career and earnings are growing, and you want your savings to keep pace. That means putting enough away, in the right places, making the most of your pension and tax allowances, and knowing whether to bring together pensions from previous jobs.

Running a business

Your business is a big part of your future wealth, and you want to see how drawing profits, pension contributions and an eventual sale or exit fit into your retirement plans.

Retirement planning: your questions answered

When can I afford to retire?

It depends on the life you want as much as on what you've saved. We use cash flow modelling to map your income, spending and assets year by year, so you can see when retirement becomes affordable and how different choices, such as retiring two years earlier, change the picture. We then stress-test the plan against market falls, inflation and life events, and update the model at every review. Any projection rests on assumptions about the future, so it is a guide rather than a guarantee.

Should I combine my old pensions?

Sometimes. Bringing pensions together can make them easier to manage and may reduce charges. But some older schemes carry valuable guarantees or benefits that would be lost on transfer, or charge exit fees. We review each pension on its merits before recommending whether it should move.

How do the April 2027 inheritance tax changes affect my pension?

From 6 April 2027, most unused pension funds will count towards your estate for inheritance tax. That may change the order in which it makes sense to draw on your pensions and other savings. We look at your retirement income and estate plans together, so one doesn't undermine the other.

How do you charge for your advice?

We believe in complete transparency on cost. Depending on the service you choose, there is an initial advice fee and, for ongoing clients, an annual service fee. We will confirm the exact fees that apply to you in writing before you proceed. Third-party costs, such as platform and fund charges, are separate. You can see our fees in full on our charges page.
