INVESTMENT PLANNING
A personal investment strategy built around your goals and attitude to risk, with tax strategies to help you keep more of what you earn.

Keep more, grow further
Traditional investing often means a fixed asset allocation that stays put while the world moves on. We do things differently.
No two clients are the same, your strategy is shaped around you. Your plan starts with your goals, your circumstances and how you feel about risk, and it's built from there. We'll always explain exactly what you're investing in, and why it is right for you.
Our core approach is active management at low cost, with the freedom to adapt as markets and opportunities change. We invest globally, wherever the opportunity is.
Alongside that, we plan carefully around tax, because what you keep matters as much as what you make.
"Our independent research is guided by simple principles: what would we do with our own money? By investing with us, you invest like us."

Investment planning: your questions answered
How do you decide how much risk I should take?
We look at two things. Your attitude to risk is how comfortable you feel when your investments fall in value. Your capacity for loss is how much a fall would actually affect your plans. Your portfolio is built to reflect both, and we revisit them at every review.
How can I invest more tax-efficiently?
Using your allowances well is one of the simplest ways to keep more of your returns. You can currently invest up to £20,000 a year across your ISAs, pensions offer tax relief on contributions, and other allowances can help too. We look at which to use, and in what order, based on your circumstances.
Who looks after my money?
We do not hold client money. Your assets are typically held in your own name with an independent, FCA-regulated custodian.
Can you review investments I already have?
Yes. Many clients come to us for a second opinion. We look at what you hold, what it costs, how it has performed and whether it still fits your goals, and tell you plainly whether anything needs to change.
How do you charge for your advice?
We believe in complete transparency on cost. Depending on the service you choose, there is an initial advice fee and, for ongoing clients, an annual service fee. We will confirm the exact fees that apply to you in writing before you proceed. Third-party costs, such as platform and fund charges, are separate. You can see our fees in full on our charges page.
